Money Back tournament (Entry Fee - Cost = Prize Pool)

Date : 10th April 2005 (Sunday)
Venue : De La Salle Institute
Time : 9am (Registration closes at 8.45 am)

Rounds: 7-9 rounds (depending on divisions and participant turnout)
Format:

1. Divisions of 8 players (or less), 1 full round robin + KOTH with repeat for remainder)
2. Divisions of 9 players (or more), KOTH no repeat until last round.

Dictionary: SOWPODS
Challenge: WSC 5-point challenge

Entry Fee:
RM20 for adults
RM10 for students
RM5 surcharge for entries received after 5th April 2005.

Remarks:

• Walk-ins are welcomed on a first come first serve basis
• Please bring your own equipment (boards, racks, tiles & clock)
• Scoresheets and scorecards will be provided by the organisers
• Lunch will not be provided. Players will have one hour for lunch.

Penang YMCA Scrabble Tournament.
There will be 2 Categories

Sunday 17 April 2005
Entry Fee Before 10 April is RM 15 and after that RM 20
Players are to bring their own sets and clocks.
Trophies and certificates will be given to winners

Open Category
2 day Tournament 15 Games
Saturday and Sunday
16 and 17 April 2005
Entry Fee before 9th April RM 50 , thereafter RM 60
There will be 2 sections in this Open Category
a) Ratings Below 1350*
b) Ratings 1350* and above
* Subject to change
Cash prizes will be allocated to winners from the entrry fees collected
after deduction of expenses.
